Our curriculum caters for all students within the community

 

Coláiste Chiaráin provide the full range of programmes available from the Department of Education and Science – Junior Cycle, Junior Certificate Schools Programme, Transition Year, Leaving Certificate, Leaving Certificate Applied and Leaving Certificate Vocational Programme.

 

 

 

Our policies enhance the educational growth of all our students

 

The Education Act, 1998 specifies that it is the responsibility of the Board of Management of a school to arrange for the preparation of a school plan, and to ensure that it is regularly reviewed and updated. The School Development Planning Initiative (SDPI) was established in 1999 to support the process of development planning in post-primary schools.

Support Services

 

The school offers  a wide variety of integrated support services that focus on both individuals and groups of students as required. Our support services include counselling, learning support, educational assessments, study skills,  supervised study and peer mentoring.

 

 

Supporting our students both formally and informally

 

Coláiste Chiaráin provides a number of services that are intended to support the ever-changing needs of students. Student Support Services include a variety of formal and informal services that help to meet the needs of our students. These services are provided to help and guide each student to reach their full potential.
