To bring their study of share capital and company finance to life, 2nd Year Business Studies students are taking part in a stock market competition, with students investing an imaginary fund of €10,000 in companies on the Irish Stock Exchange. The students are tracking the growth of their investments each month until December when a prize will be given to the top 3 investors. This could be the birth of some stock market tycoons! Of course, none of them have been able to beat Mr Kirwan yet…!
