The TY class went on a walking tour of Dublin today. They first visited the crypts in St Michans Church. This was a fascinating tour, the crypts have mummified remains including a crusader. The tour guide was fantastic and really made the whole experience memorable. We then walked to the National Library for the 1913 Lockout exhibition. After lunch we met up in TCD for a guided tour of the 1916 Rising by Lorcan Collins. He illuminated many interesting facts about the Rising and made the whole experience come to life.
