On Wednesday April 10th the 2A1 CSPE class went to the DSPCA in Rathfarnham with their teacher Ms. MacKenzie and Mr. Kirwan. A tour of the centre was given by a volunteer called Olive, who gave a talk about cruelty to animals and the work done by the DSPCA. Olive answered all of the questions which our class had prepared in advance of the trip and gave us some very useful information for our J.C. Action Project. She then brought us to see the animals. As well as cats and dogs, there were horses, donkeys, pigs, goats and geese who are all being very well looked after by the staff at the centre. We took a lot of photos to remember the great day. At the end of the tour, Olive thanked us for being such a good group. It was a great success and we would recommend going there for a visit. Here are some of the photos we took.
