On Wednesday the 22nd of October, the Colaiste Chiarain Senior Debating team participated in their first Concern debate of this school year. The team successfully opposed the motion that ‘Critics who poured water on the Ice Bucket Challenge were unfair’. The proposition, who hosted the debate, were an excellent Ratoath College. Conall Hayes (captain), Luke Ecock, Alanna Devitt and David Kelly were fantastic on the night and are looking forward to their next debate in a feels time.
