5LCA visited Bank of Ireland Leixlip yesterday as part of their Office Admin. module. The staff at the bank gave a most enlightening talk about their jobs, day-to-day life in the branch and the variety of careers in that sector. They spoke about the huge surge in online and digital banking and the move towards a cash-less society. The students even got to see inside the safe-unfortunately no free samples were on offer!
