Thirty staff members of staff have undertaken an emergency first aid course over two the past two Saturdays. The instructor covered a range of emergency response skills from basic first aid right through to CPR and on to instruction in the use of an AED, Automatic External defibrillator. A big thanks to Nicolas Charles for organising the training course.
The school at present has two of these devices, one is held in the PE hall and the other in the main office. Should any person or company be interested in sponsoring a third device then we would like to have a unit attached to any of our sports teams representing the school.
We would also like it known within the local community that the AEB is available in the school office should such a need ever arise.
