Week 10 Language of the Junior Certificate

In this module students will be made aware of some of the language used in relation to the new Junior Cycle:

• They will be introduced to the language of assessment such as CBA 1 and CBA 2.

• They will learn about the content of the Junior Cycle Student Award, which is the certificate they will receive at the end of their 3 year Junior Cycle

• They will be made aware of the language of ‘Well-Being’ which encourages their personal development in 8 key areas:

Managing Myself, Staying Well, Being Creative, Communicating, Working With Others, Managing Information & Thinking, Being Literate, Being Numerate

Students will have the opportunity to ask questions about terms they have heard but don't understand.
